Dress Code

All students are to be dressed appropriately for classes. Students who are not dressed appropriately will be asked to sit out the class.

Ballet

6 years and under (Pre-Dance)

pink/white ballet tights pink body suit

pink ballet slippers hair: must be tied back and off face

7 years and up

pink ballet tights black/navy body sui

pink soft leather ballet shoes - Bloch or SoDanca split sole is recommended hair: must be in a bun, using pin

Jazz

6 years and under (Pre-Dance)

pink/white ballet tights pink body suit

pink ballet slippers hair: must be tied back and off face

7 years and up

beige or pink tights black/navy body suit dance shorts/pants (optional)

beige slip-on jazz shoes, no laces - Bloch or SoDanca split sole is recommended hair: must be tied back and off face

Levels 1 through 4 (ages 13 & over)

beige or pink tights black dance attire - crop tops, bodysuit, shorts, pants

beige slip-on jazz shoes hair: bun or ponytail (pulled off face)

Tap

Beginner & Junior Tap

same clothing as jazz

beige tap shoes with heel and buckle strap (not velcro) hair: must be tied back and off face

13 years and over

same clothing as jazz

black Oxford Tap shoes hair: must be tied back and off face

Step

Beginner Step

same clothing as jazz

Capezio 625, black patent with regular tap (only at Brio) hair: must be tied back and off face

Intermediate and Senior Step

same clothing as jazz

Angelo Luzio 452, step shoe oxford with staccato tap (only at Brio) hair: must be tied back and off face

Hip Hop

Non-marking running shoes. No outdoor shoes will be allowed in the studio. Casual wear is allowed as long as it is not too bulky. Please no jeans.

Boys

Black pants/shorts, white or black t-shirt.
